M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is awarded upon successful completion of a 4-semester broad-based academic programme. With the onset of a new wave of revolution being unleashed by the Internet of Things (IoT) due to the availability of extremely low cost and low power hardware platforms in the form of VLSI systems, we are seeing the emergence of a new convergence between hardware, communication, and signal processing. Its potential is limited only by human imagination and its impact is being seen in the rapid evolution it is fostering in different domains such as automation, e-health, mobile communication, smart home, automotive sector, consumer electronics, pervasive computing, computer architecture, etc.

Apart from M.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, the University School of Engineering and Technology offers a variety of courses in Engineering which makes the RayatBahra University (RBU) a hub of quality education. There are numerous study programs offered by the University.

Eligibility: B.Tech (in any relevant branch) with minimum 60% marks. Preference will be given to GATE /National level examination qualified candidates.

The private sector has even more job opportunities. Electrical goods manufacturing sector, Telecommunications sector, Industries involved in production and manufacturing, Energy (solar and wind) sector etc are the prime recruiters, when it comes to Private sector enterprises.
