M.Tech Electrical Engineering

Job opportunities are available in Government as well as Private sector in ample amounts. Talking about Government sector, Enterprises and Departments like- BHEL, Indian Railways, Indian Armed Forces, HAL, BSNL, State Wise Electricity Boards, DRDO, Hydroelectric Power plants, Thermal Power plants etc are prime recruiters. Graduates will be able to bag posts of Assistant Engineers, Site Engineers and other Officer level posts after clearing the respective entrance tests and procedures.

The private sector has even more job opportunities. Electrical goods manufacturing sector, Telecommunications sector, Industries involved in production and manufacturing, Energy (solar and wind) sector etc are the prime recruiters, when it comes to Private sector enterprises.

If one is interested in the profession of teaching, after M.E./M.Tech. Electrical Engineering, one may take up the post of a Lecturer at any Government/Private Engineering College.
